Firefox Plugin Request

OK, Firefox developers, here’s your chance to really impress me. Create a toolbar which allows me to add web domains to my host list with a corresponding address of 127.0.0.1 (loopback). Why is this important I can see you asking, so let me explain how I see it working…

I go to a website which has many annoying flashing advertisements, by grabbing a tool from the toolbar and dragging it over the advertisement (think Macromedia Dreamweaver’s link tool) I can add that advertisement to the block list. From that point, I never have to look at that advertisement again.

Who’s with me?

Firefox has a plug in that will do that. I use it all the time. Once you tell it where the urls are coming from, you almost never see ads on any site you see, since most of them are coming from the same places...adplex..etc.
